ABOUT ME!

As a contemporary artist, my inspiration primarily explores sociological and environmental themes in the form of mixed-media installations.  I am heavily influenced by nature and human activity.  My aim is to make the viewer more aware of the current environmental issues that we live in as well as to create an impact on everybody’s everyday lifestyles.

I have a strong interest in creating expressive and distinctive lines through the process of wrapping with string; this to me is a meditative method. I also work with found objects and produce interactive tactile artworks where I intend to capture their responses in multiples.

• Work experience in the enhanced provision department at St Patrick's RC Primary School; organising art projects with pupils, running Lunch Art Clubs for Strathcarron Hospice and painted a 'Welcome Mural' at the entrance of the school. (20th August- Current day)
